This card was fun to make. The main focal images for this set include a throw back Nintendo controller and today’s cross-platform controller. Combine them together with the filler stamps and sentiments to create themed cards for birthdays, graduations, or any other success worth acknowledging in your gamer’s life.

My color palette leaned toward a few of the colors I associate with the gaming industry:

Basic Black
Smoky Slate
Orchid Oasis
Parakeet Party.

PREP THE CARD

Adhere the strip of Parakeet Party to the card base approximately 2” from the bottom of the card base.
Adhere the Smokey Slate mat to the Basic Black mat. Adhere the compiled mat to the card base.
Adhere the Orchid Oasis strip to the coordinating Smoky Slate mat.
Place dimensions on the back of the focal image. Add dimensionals to the bottom edge of the exterior sentiment label. Center the focal image over the Orchid Oasis strip and adhere. Add liquid glue to the top half of the sentiment, center left to right at the bottom of the focal image.
Embellish with 3 Black Classic Matte Dots.

ASSEMBLE CARD

Adhere the strip of Parakeet Party to the card base approximately 2” from the bottom of the card base.
Adhere the Smokey Slate mat to the Basic Black mat. Adhere the compiled mat to the card base.
Adhere the Orchid Oasis strip to the coordinating Smoky Slate mat.
Place dimensions on the back of the focal image. Add dimensionals to the bottom edge of the exterior sentiment label. Center the focal image over the Orchid Oasis strip and adhere. Add liquid glue to the top half of the sentiment, center left to right at the bottom of the focal image.
Embellish with 3 Black Classic Matte Dots.

ASSEMBLE THE INSIDE

Adhere the Smoky Slate strip to the
coordinating Orchid Oasis strip.
Adhere the compiled strip to
the Basic White mat.
.Adhere the Basic White mat to
the Basic Black mat.
Adhere compiled mat to the inside
of the card base.

Don’t forget to decorate the envelope!

The fun of receiving snail mail begins with the envelope.

I simply stamped the game controller’s button characters stamp along the left edge of the card.
