Stampin’ Up! Inked Botanicals DSP Thank You With Must Have Dies

The Inked Botanicals DSP triggers childhood memories for me of gathering flowers and leaves during the summer and fall months, then pressing them between the pages of an old book to be used later for art projects.

Whether or not this thank you card recall these same childhood memories in the intended recipient, it will still deliver your warm wishes and be enjoyed by them.

This is another simple layout that uses an embossed background with Stampin’ Up! Designer Tags and Something Fancy Dies.

I began by cutting a piece of Herringbone Ribbon long enough to tie a bow and colored it with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends.

Next I placed the Pretty Peacock mat in the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Fold then ran it through though the SCEM (Stampin’ Cut, Emboss Machine) and glued it to the Petal Pink card base.

I adhered smaller DSP strip to the coordinating Petal Pink mat and then attach the compiled mat to the card base with liquid glue.

I selected 2 different pieces of DSP and secured the largest Designer Tags Die to one and the smallest Something Fancy tag die to the other, then ran both through the SCEM.

The Designer Tag die cut I  positioned on a slant and directly adhered it to the card base.

I added dimensionals to the back of the Something Fancy and adhered it partially over the larger DSP die cut and lower left corner of the Pretty Peacock mat  with the bottom edge of the tag parallel to the bottom of the card base.

The sentiment label is a discard piece I had from die cutting the tackle box frame found in the Gone Fishing Dies, so when using this die save those negative or throw away pieces.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added two dimensionals to the left edge of the label, added liquid glue to the rest of the label, then adhere it near the bottom of the Something Fancy die cut.

I tied a bow with my colored ribbon and adhered it with several Glue Dots over the ribbon slit of the Designer Tags die cut. Finally, I added 5 Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.

For the inside mat I embossed a 1 1/4″ strip of Peacock card stock and adhered a 3/4″ strip of coordinating DSP to it. I adhere the compiled mat along the bottom edge of the Very Vanilla mat.

Don’t forget to decorate the envelope!

The fun of receiving snail mail begins with the envelope.

For this envelope  simply added a strip
of coordinating DSP along the left edge.
This gives just that little extra to create a
coordinating card set.
