Inspiration in Ink Presents
Dainty Delight and On The Farm

Welcome to the December 2022 Inspirations In Ink Blog Hop. Thank you for visiting my page. The Inspirations In Ink team is a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators world-wide who have banned together to provide you with inspiration for creating handmade cards.

This is such an exciting time of year for us with two new catalog releases right around the corner.

The December Inspirations in Ink Hop will be presenting two different bundles from the 2023 January-April Catalog. The Dainty Delights and On The Farm Bundles will be available from January 5th – May 1st. Each project will also feature free coordinating  DSPs from the January-February SALE-a-bration Catalog also available January 5th and ending February 28th.

My card introduces the Dainty Delight Bundle along with the SAB DSP Dainty Flowers. Although very simple, this lovely card will be appreciated by the recipient.

I created this card using mostly die cut pieces. To obtain the vine sizes needed for my card I die cut two vines, then cut them down to fit the card front. I then dry fit two vines, two large daisies, and the sentiment on the Scalloped Contours DSP mat. Once satisfied with the arrangement I glued the vines and daisies to the mat. Then wrapped a piece of Orchid Oasis Metallic Woven ribbon around the front of the card and secured it to the back. Next, I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon and flower ends with dimensionals. I then tucked the half daisy under the sentiment and adhered it directly to the mat. Finally, I embellished daisy centers with Highland Heather Pastel Pearls and an
Orchid Oasis bow.

Don’t forget to take the extra few minutes to decorate the inside of the card.

I placed a strip of the same DSP on the left side of the mat and arranged a single piece of the vine with a daisy in the lower left corner. The sentiment is from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set and is stamped in
Orchid Oasis.

Don’t forget to take the extra few minutes to decorate the inside and envelop of the card!

I completed the card by placing a piece of the same paper I used for my mat on the envelope flap then stamped a small floral image on the front in the bottom left corner.

Even when done simply, these extra steps are guaranteed to make your card stand out among all the other snail mail your family and friend receive.
