Magical Meadow Bundle CardFun Fold or Not?

This weeks card is another simple card that is created primarily with products from the Winter Meadow Suite. The sentiments, both external and internal are from the Ringed with Nature and Joy to you stamp sets. Head to your crafting table and let’s create it!

The Winter Meadow Suite includes the following items. . .

This card uses Magical Meadows Bundle, The Faceted, Silver & White Sheer Ribbon, and the Winter Meadow DSP, but it is absolutely worth purchasing he all the products in the Suite outright.

This card includes a fun, simple layout that may or may not be considered a fun fold. You decide.
The color palette includes: Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, and Basic White

Now let’s create. . .

PREP THE CARD

Cut all the card pieces according to measurements.
Position the large Lost Lagoon mat inside the card base to determine where to add the exterior sentiment.
Heat emboss the exterior sentiment on the Lost Lagoon mat once the sentiment position is determined.
– Begin by rubbing the bottom of the Lost Lagoon mat with the Embossing Buddy (Embossing Buddy Additions Kit).
– Stamp the sentiment from the Ringed With Nature stamp set in VersaMark ink.
– Sprinkle with white embossing powder.
– Melt powder with the Heat Tool until glossy white.
Stamp the interior sentiment from the Joy to You stamp set with Pool Party ink on the Basic White mat.
I added detail to my mat by stamping snowflakes from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set
in Lost Lagoon Ink.
Stamp the large tree scene from the Magical Meadows stamp set.
Secure the coordinating die to the focal image and run it through the SCEM.

ASSEMBLE CARD

Cut a 1″ (2.5cm) strip off the front of the card base.
Adhere the DSP to the small Lost Lagoon mat.
Adhere the compiled mat to the front of the card.
Add a piece of Tear & Tape to the back of the focal image. Zigzag the ribbon across the back of the focal image.
Add dimensionals to the back of the focal image then adhere to the lower right corner to the DSP.

EMBELLISH

Add 3 small Glossy Dot around the focal image on the DSP.
Add 2 medium Glossy Dots to either side of the interior sentiment.

Card Base, Pool Party – 4 1/4″ x 11″ score @ 5 1/2″
Lost Lagoon
4″ x 4 1/4″
4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White
3 3/4″ x 4 1/8″
Scrap
Winter Meadow DSP
3 3/4″ x 4″
Silver & White Sheer Ribbon – 10″

ASSEMBLE THE INSIDE

Adhere the large Lost Lagoon mat to the inside of the card base.
Adhere the interior Basic White mat to the Lost Lagoon mat.
Make sure the Basic White mat is NOT visible along the bottom edge of the card front.

Don’t forget to decorate the envelope!

The fun of receiving snail mail begins with the envelope.

I decorating this envelope by stamping the focal image in Lost Lagoon ink in the bottom front corner.

Other ways to dress up this envelope may include:

Dry emboss the envelope flap.
Stamp the envelope flap, along the left edge, or across the bottom.
Adhere coordinating DSP along the front left edge and/or across the bottom.
Die Cut a label out of coordinating DSP large enough to adhere a mailing label of the addressee on it and still see the design of the DSP peaking out around the edges of the mailing label.
