CASE & Alter: Them Bones Card - The Stamping Muse

I can’t believe that Halloween is next week. I am working like crazy to finish my cards for my nieces and nephews. With that in mind, today’s CASEd Creation cards are created using the “blocked image” DSP sheet found in the
Them Bones DSP pack.

CARD TO CASE

This is the original card that I created. The layout is clean, simple, and versatile, so it can easily be used with any DSP and coordinating colors, as well as embellishment. When you CASE a card it should be the inspiration for a creation your making.

This is my CASEd card. Same versatile layout, different DSP, and position of the small DSP element vertical instead of horizontal.

Remember, when you CASE & Alter a card the changes don’t need to be big. Just make the card yours.

CARD INSIDE

Don’t forget, you can also CASE the inside of cards.

That said, I didn’t CASE the inside of my first card. I just decorated the insides to reflect the the feel of the front of each card.

Don't forget to decorate the envelope!

The envelope is the where the excitement of receiving
snail mail begins.

For my first card I added a strip of coordinating DSP to the front of the card. Then I added a few bats along the left edge of the card, Because my coordinating DSP was a bit short to go from edge to edge, I stamped a bat in the right, lower corner.

My second card I just stamped bats along the left edge of the card. To pull in a major featur of the card front, I also stamped a cat in the lower, right corner of the envelope.
