Let’s Fly A Kite
Sunny days, warm weather, and cool breezes mean its kite flying time here in the Midwest. So, let’s go fly a kite with the bouncing bunny from the Playing In The Rain Bundle.
The card base of Old Olive was chosen to match the bunny’s shirt. Design A Daydream DSP, a 2022-2023 Annual Catalog host product, was used for the mat, kites, and bows. The Playing In The Rain Dies were used for all cutting.
The small Basic White mat is embossed with the Into The Clouds Embossing Folder. Although it is hard to see in the photo, I lightly blended a little Balmy Blue over the surface of the mat to help the detail stand out. I used Garden Green Bakers Twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack found in the January-April Mini Catalog for the kites’ tail.
To complete the inside I added another kite, bows, and a Garden Green tail.
I stamped the bunny in the front lower left corner and colored it with Stampin’ Blends of the envelop and finished with a piece of the darling kite paper from the Design A Daydream DSP on the flap.
Other ways to decorate an envelope include:
- Dry emboss the envelope flap.
- Stamped the envelope flap or across the bottom.
- Adhere DSP along the front left edge and/or across the bottom.
- Die Cut a label out of DSP large enough to adhere a mailing label of the addressee on it and still see the design of the DSP peaking out around the edges of the mailing label.
