Happy 3rd Birthday
Color & Contour Stamp Set

Colors for this card include Lemon Lolly, one of the new core colors, and Berry Burst, one of the old In Colors added as a core colors.

This is a simple card to make, but does have a couple extra steps that makes it seem complicated, but I promise it is not, so please give it a try.

Stamping
This set allows for two step stamping.

• Stamp the focal image outline is stamped with Lemon Lime Twist on Basic White scrap.
• Using sponge daubers dabbed the filler image with Lemon Lolly. Next dab the base of the flowers with Berry Burst.
• Stamp the exterior sentiment on Lemon Lolly Card Stock and the interior sentiment in Berry Burst using the sentiments from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set.

Die Cut

• Position and secure the coordinating die to the floral image. Run through SCEM.
• Insert the small Berry Burst piece of paper into the Splatters 3D EF. Run through SCEM.

Die Cut the Border.

• Line your 2 sheets of paper up on the edge you want to use the edging die.
  Be sure the smaller/top piece is positioned properly.
  For example: If smaller/top mat is going to be centered on the larger mat, then center
  the smaller mat on the larger mat, but do it on the edge you want to die cut.
  Or, if the small mat will be place on the bottom half of the larger mat then position
  the smaller mat properly while lining it with the larger mat on the cutting edge.
• Position and secure the edging die.
• Run both pieces through the SCEM at the same time.
• Adhere smaller/top mat to the bottom mat in the position you intended
  making sure the die cut edges lines up properly.

Build the Card

• Adhere compiled mat to card base.
• Add dimensionals to the back of the Berry Burst mat and adhere to card base.
• Add dimensionals to the left edge and glue to the right 1/4 of the sentiment label. Adhere to card base so the left edge lines up with the edge of the Bright & Beautiful DSP and is approximately 1/4″ above the bottom of the Berry Burst mat.
• Add dimensionals to the back of the focal image. Position on the Berry Burst mat so the stem crosses over the upper right corner of the sentiment label.
• Tie a triple bow with White Bakers Twine. Tie an extra piece of bakers twine around the center of the bow to add a few more tails. Add a Glue Dot to the back of the know and attach to the stem just below the bottom leaf.
• Add 2 large Basic Pearl Jewels to the left edge of the sentiment label and 3 small pearls around the flowers.

Build the Inside

Adhere a piece of DSP to the Berry Burst stripthen adhere compiled mat to the bottom of the interior mat.

Adhere interior mat to card base.
