Brighten Any Birthday with the Fresh As A Daisy Suite

The season of rebirth has begun here in the Midwest. Soon our field will be filled with the wild innocence of daisies waving in the Spring winds.

The Fresh As A Daisy Suite pulls in free-flowing images that illustrate the innocent beauty of daisies and pairs them with a jovial font. This Suite incorporates all the new 2023-2025 In Colors in the DSP.

Color Scheme & Design

Colors used on this card include . . .

The layout is very simple. It includes: the card base, 3 mats, 1 sentiment label, and 2 focal image. Measurements for this card are based on a standard card base and layers #1 and #2 mat sizes.

Begin by cutting, scoring, folding, and burnishing card base.
Cut a piece of White Bakers Twine long enough to wrap around the DSP mat 5 times allowing for enough to tie a knot
Color Bakers Twine with Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends.
Wrap twine around DSP near the top of the mat.
Adhere DSP mat to Garden Green mat.
Adhere compiled mat to card base.
On Basic White card stock stamp the exterior sentiment in Garden Green ink, the large outlined daisy in Lemon Lolly, and 2 large daisy centers in Wild Wheat. Position and secure matching dies. Also adhere the large solid daisy die to Basic White card stock. Run all through the SCEM. Don’t forget to die cut the 2nd daisy center.
Add dimensionals to the back of the exterior label, outlined daisy image, and both daisy centers.
Place the label, centered from top to bottom, over the Bakers Twine. Adhere the daisy in the bottom left corner. Adhere the daisy center.
Embellish with 3 2023-2025 In Color Dots.

Decorating the card’s interior is just as easy.
Simply. . .

Color the solid daisy die cut with the Lemon Lolly Blends.
Stamp the interior sentiment on Basic White mat in Garden Green.
Adhere solid daisy in the bottom left corner of the mat. Then adhere the center.
Adhere the completed mat to inside of card base.

Don't forget to decorate the envelope!

The envelope is the where the excitement of receiving
snail mail begins.

I simply decorated this envelop by stamping a solid daisy and its coordinating center in the front bottom left corner using Lemon Lolly and Wild Wheat Inks respectively.

Other ways to decorate an envelope include:

Dry emboss the envelope flap.
Stamped the envelope flap, front lower left corner, or across the bottom.
Adhere DSP along the front left edge and/or across the bottom.
Die Cut a label out of DSP large enough to adhere a mailing label of the addressee on it and still see the design of the DSP peaking out around the edges of the mailing label.
