Playing In The Rain Bundle

For the month of March I will feature the Playing In The Rain Bundle.This adorable Bundle is included in the Rain or Shine Suite, which also includes: Raindrops Embossing Folder, Loose Daisy Embellishments, and Rain or shine DSP. The cute critters and bright paper are wonderful for creating cheery cards like this one, or cards of encouragement and support.
This Accordion Step Fun Fold card is easy to make. This fold provides depth, adding interest and giving it a playfulness the recipient will enjoy.
- Cutting and scoring all pieces as indicated in the measurements section.
- Adhere DSP strips to the coordinating Basic White strips.
- Adhere the compiled strips to the 2 front mountain folds of the Balmy Blue Card Base.
- Apply adhesive to the back Balmy Blue panel and then adhere the front panel of the Basic White card to it. (Only add glue to the area where the basic White card will be matted.)
- Now decorate!
Decorating is in the eye of the beholder. I decorated my fun fold card by:
- Stamping the flowers in Olive Green.
- Coloring some petals with Stampin’ Blends and leaving some petals white and coloring them with Wink of Stella.
- Stamping the sentiment on Basic White scrap in Balmy Blue then embossing it with Clear Embossing Powder to give it shine. (Use the Stamparatus!)
- Stamping the clouds with VersaMark and embossing them with White Embossing Powder. (Use the Stamparatus!)
- Securing coordinating dies to Rain or Shine DSP critters, colored flowers, and embossed clouds. Run Through SCEM.
- Puching the Sentiment using the Label Me Fancy Punch.
- Embellishing with Loose Daisy embellishments and Brushed Brass Butterflies.
