Loveliest Basket of Apples Card

This month I have been providing ideas for creating with the Cheerful Basket Bundle.
The Loveliest Basket of Apples Card was inspired by my family’s annual excursions to the apple orchard, which always resulted in delicious apple pies and maybe caramel apples. Although my sisters and I didn’t necessarily want to go at the time, I am grateful for the memories I have because of our yearly family outing.
The focal point and sentiment of this card were colored using one of my favorite techniques-water coloring. To create the sentiment banner I placed Fluid 100 Water Color paper in the Stamparatus and stamped it in Poppy Parade ink. Then I repeated the process and stamped it again in VersaMark ink. After which I emboss it with clear embossing powder. By taking this step I was able to prevent the sentiment from bleeding when I water colored the banner.
Once the card was assembled I embellished it with 2 Brushed Metallic Adhesive Dots and 3 Brushed Brass Butterflies.
Don’t forget to decorate the card’s inside and envelop!
